Pennies for the Homeless is a 501(c)(3) charity,  based in Albuquerque, NM and founded in 1993, Pennies for the Homeless' mission is to educate students, professionals, and the general public about the reality of homelessness, while directly funding Albuquerque healthcare, shelters, meal centers, and other homeless service providers in New Mexico. Jennifer Bean has been the registered agent and treasurer and a member of the board of directors since 1998.
